The Forest District is a fictional place taking place in Galaxy 10-11's capital, Kalpana. Inspired by the Unspoken Universe Series, Lauryn set out to create the distinct styles and aesthetics of each of Kalpana's districts. The Forest District, often called the "Green Thumb of Kalpana" and is located on the northeastern side of Kalpana. Most of Kalpana's agriculture is grown here in labs, and the district has made many sustainable vertical forests. Much of their architecture and fashion has copper accents, both for sustainable and fashionable purposes. Most of the fashion here is made with biodegradable materials, and the color palette is filled with greens, peaches, browns, whites, and copper. Forest District fashion has a signature style of incorporating fluid, organic lines over the top of formal, straight lines to signify the construction of man and nature.

Kalpana is a diverse cyberpunk city filled with thousands of different species. Out of all of the districts, the Forest District is the most progressive in sustainability. The native species that lived off the land before Kalpana was established live prominently in the Forest District. Their traditions of a greener future carry on in the traditions, architecture, and fashion that exhibit Kalpana's streets.
